The John Damberg Latin Jazz Ensemble strives to present fresh, new musical landscapes featuring the unique blend of marimba, steel drum, & vibes, with the clarinet & flute, & the classical guitar jamming over World Beat rhythmic grooves provided by the energetic rhythm section composed of Latin percussion, drum set, and bass.
The ensemble’s mission is to create new Latin Jazz compositions and re-discover the music of the Latin Jazz Icons of the Caribbean, Central, and South America in performances throughout Alaska and beyond.
